BIO
I grew up as a small town boy, livin in a not so lonely world in Ohio. I took the midnight train to San Francisco over 4 years ago, starting as a Motion Designer at EVB, before working my way up to head of the Motion Department, then deciding on the freelance route in 2009.
I consider myself massively lucky professionally, fulfilling multiple lifelong goals early on in my career. Ive had the opportunity to design GI Joe and Star Wars action figures for Hasbro, develop board games for Milton Bradley/Parker Bros. I've been able to travel, and work on set for commercial and features all over the world, from Miami, New York, London, LA, San Francisco, and even Portland.
As a kid, I grew up playing every sport imaginable with my younger brother, and always wished there were better photos of us in action. This inspired a stint as a freelance high school sports photographer years later, as well as my current foray into DSLR video.
My life is packed with podcasts, tutorials, personal projects, photography, and constant learning and appreciation for the world around me. I like to be out in the elements, working hard physically and in constant evolution. I have a soft spot for German cars, Jeopardy, and Legos.
